Kunshi-koh is an incense that I had always wanted to make. Kunshi means gentleman, and in Chinese, it has much deeper meanings, including elements of refinedness, ethnical and moral, uprighteousness.
This incense is a blend of sandalwood with osmanthus flowers, myrrh, styrax officianalis, a coarse dash of borneol, and other trace spices. when burning, the smoke is soft and sweet, osmanthus notes floating in the air, yet not ungrounded. the resins have been carefully controlled and blended to ensure no coarseness nor brashness in their presentation, and in this incense, serving to preserve the osmanthus
