This is made from aloeswood heartwood material, the bead spinning scraps of mid to high resination.
Tigerwood generally refers to solid heartwood logs, when sliced into half, there are dark resinous streaks interspearsing the yellow brown oily zones, resembling tiger striped skin. It is generally quite challenging to be made into an incense stick as the volatility from the high oil to resin content (as compared to other woods such as pontianak woods in this batch where the resin content is higher than oil content), which makes “temperature regulation” in this stick very important.
the scent profile? a mid to high silky oudy tone, light spiciness with underlying sweetness.
